Este resulta en líneas generales un buen kit de ICM. Correcto en cuanto a la calidad de la matricería y de buen detalle. La opción de armado que se ofrece es la del buque en su versión original, de 1914. No obstante, es posible construir la versión final de 1918 utilizando partes del kit que no se corresponden con su configuración más antigua y realizando algunas pocas modificaciones. En mi caso opté por esta última. En cuanto al detallado, no he encontrado en el mercado un set de fotograbados vinculado a este buque en esta escala, por lo cual utilizaré partes genéricas, como barandillas y escaleras, más otras piezas de diversa procedencia.
This is a good kit from ICM. Correct as to the quality of the tooling and good detail. The assembly option offered is the original version of the ship in 1914. However, it's possible to build her final version of 1918 using parts of the kit that do not correspond to her older configuration and by making some modifications. In my case I choose for this latter one option. As for the detail, I have not found on the market a PE set for this ship in this scale, so I will use generic parts such as handrails and stairs, plus other pieces from various sources.

Ahora los primeros pasos en el montaje del modelo. Pueden ver que una de las modificaciones que tuve que realizar fue en el puente. El kit provee una forma incorrecta. De esto me di cuenta una vez ya montada la pieza, por lo que tuve que deshacer el conjunto para luego dar con la versión adecuada. También se aprecian los fotograbados ya colocados, quedando el modelo casi listo para iniciar la pintura.
Now the first steps in the assembly of the model. You can see that one of the modifications that I had to make was on the bridge. The kit provides an incorrect one. I realized about this when the pieces were already assembled, so I had to undo the whole set and then make the appropriate shape. You can also appreciate the PE details already placed, being almost ready the model to start with the painting job.

El modelo fue pintado casi en su totalidad con acrílicos Sicko, utilizando Hellgrau 50 Silbergrau para el casco, Hellgrau 50 para las superestructuras y Dunkelgrau 52 para la parte superior de las torretas principales. Finalmente para el desgaste utilicé óleos y productos de AMMO.
The model was painted mostly with Sicko acrylics, using Hellgrau 50 Silbergrau for the hull, Hellgrau 50 for the upper structures and Dunkelgrau 52 for the top of the main turrets. Finally the weathering was made with oils and AMMO products.
