Este es un modelo que tenía en mente armar hace mucho tiempo. El kit de Dragon es bueno, y en su edición Premium incluye además las calcas para hacer los buques argentinos de la clase y un pequeño set de fotograbados que contienen las barandillas, radar, aspas del helicóptero y otros detalles menores. El montaje es sencillo y no presenta mayores incovenientes más que un poco de masillado. y para hacer el Hércules debí realizar algunas reformas menores. La época en que será presentado el buque corresponde a la Guerra de Malvinas, de esa manera además puedo hacer uso del Sea Lynx que provee el kit.
This is a model that I had in mind long ago. The kit is good, and in its Premium edition also includes the decals to make the Argentine ships of the class and a small PE set that contain the rails, radar, helicopter blades and other minor details. The assembly is simple and presents no more inconveniences than a little filling, and to make the Hercules I had to make a few reforms. The time when the ship will be presented corresponds to the Malvinas War, so I can also use the Sea Lynx that provides the kit.

A continuación los trabajos realizados sobre algunas superestructuras. Si bien en principio creí que no sería necesario realizar mayores modificaciones, me he dado cuenta que algunos detalles del kit no se correspondían con el original. En primer lugar reemplacé las vergas del set de fotograbados por unas nuevas construídas con alambre de cobre y plástico estirado, en este caso no porque fueran incorrectas, sino para dar mayor rigidez al conjunto. El mástil proel debí reconstruirlo casi por completo para asemejarlo al original, además la antena del radar debí modificarla dado que la pieza de fotograbado no es correcta. Por último agregué algunos detalles utilizando piezas de otros sets.
What follows is the assembly of some of the superstructures. While I initially believed that it would not be necessary to make any major changes, I realized that some details of the kit didn't match the original ship. Firstly, I replaced the PE yards with new ones built with copper wire and stretched sprue, in this case not because they were incorrect, but to give greater strength to the whole. I had to reconstruct almost completely the forward mast to resemble the original, also I had to modify the radar antenna since the PE piece of is not correct. Finally I added some details using pieces from other sets.

Para la pintura del modelo he utilizado principalmente esmaltes Humbrol, además de acrílicos Tamiya para algunos detalles. Además debí modificar algunas calcas para dar con el correcto dibujo de la cubierta de vuelo. Los desgastes los hice con óleos y productos AMMO. Finalmente la base simulando el mar la he realizado usando los efectos Agua Cristal y Foam de Sicko.
For painting the model I have mainly used Humbrol enamels, as well as Tamiya acrylics for some details. In addition I had to modify some decals to give the correct drawing of the flight deck. The wastes I made with oils and AMMO products. I finally made the sea base using Crystal Water and Foam effects from Sicko.
