ARA ALMIRANTE BROWN (C-1)

El modelo está completamente construido en scratch, a excepción de algunas piezas canibalizadas de otros kits como los cañones que proceden del HMS Hood de Tamiya en 1:700, o los botes salvavidas, rescatados de antiguos kits. El buque está representado en su configuración durante la década del treinta, previo a las modificaciones que se le realizaron posteriormente. El material utilizado principalmente fue plástico de alto impacto y foamboard para los sectores con formas más complejas. Para detallarlo usé barandillas y escaleras de North Star Models, finalmente lo pinté utilizando acrílicos de Tamiya y esmaltes Humbrol, realizando los desgastes con óleos.

This is a sratchbuilt model, with the exception of some kitbashed pieces from other kits such as the barrels from the 1:700 Tamiya's HMS Hood, or the lifeboats, rescued from old kits. The ship is represented in her configuration during the 30's, prior to subsequent modifications. The mainly used material was plasticard and foamboard for the parts with more complex shapes. To detail it I used PE handrails and stairs from North Star Models, and finally I painted the model using Tamiya acrylics and Humbrol enamels, making weathering with oils.
