He aquí otro modelo sencillo y de fácil armado. El kit en líneas generales es correcto, con pocas piezas y con la posibilidad de construir un ítem poco visto. No presenta mayores problemas de encastre y en mi caso sólo tuve que afinar algo la cubierta de fotograbado ya que sobresalía un poco sobre las bandas. En cuanto al detallado, sólo he agregado la escalinata a babor de la vela.
Here's another simple and easy assembly model. The kit is generally correct, with a few pieces and represents a possibility of building a rarely seen item. It doesn't present major problems of assembly and in my case I had to trim the PE deck as it protruded a little on the sides. As for the detailing, I just only added the steps to port side of the conning tower.

Finalmente me he decidido por realizar el U-1407, que luego fuera capturado por los ingleses y prestó servicio como HMS Meteorite hasta 1949. Primeramente apliqué un presombreado con blanco y negro para luego dar paso a los colores base del modelo, para lo cual utilicé el set de la Kriegsmarine de Sicko, excepto por la banda amarilla, hecha con Signal Yellow de Humbrol. Por último, realicé los desgastes con óleos, como acostumbro.
Finally I decided to make the U-1407, which was later captured by the English forces and served as HMS Meteorite until 1949. Firstly, I applied a black and white preshading and then gave way to the base colors of the model, for which I used the Kriegsmarine set from Sicko, except for the yellow band, made with Humbrol's Signal Yellow. Finally, I weathered the model with oils, as I usually do.
