El ARA Santa Fe (S-21) prestó servicio en la Armada Argentina desde 1972 hasta su pérdida en la Guerra de Malvinas en 1982. Usé el kit del Guppy II de AFV Club, pero debí realizar muchas modificaciones para asemejarlo al original. Para ello, los agujeros de inundación y toda la cubierta fueron reconstruidos utilizando fotograbados caseros, se cambió la posición del ancla de babor a estribor y se realizó en scratch el contenedor de la balsa salvavidas. Fue pintado con acrílicos Tamiya y desgastado con óleos.

The submarine ARA Santa Fe (S-21) served in the Argentine Navy from 1972 until her loss in the Malvinas War in 1982. I used the AFV club kit for the Guppy II class submarine, but I had to make several modifications to the model to match the original. To do this, the limber holes and the whole deck were rebuilt with homemade photoetched parts, the anchor location was changed from port to starboard and the liferaft container was scratchbuilt. To paint the model I used Tamiya acrylics and weathering was done with oils.
